The wedge, locating pin is found in the brake system, engine, clutch and many other places , for LS Tractor tractors of all series and models.

A wedge, or locking pin, is a component whose primary function is to secure the shaft in the correct position. There are two types of wedge connections that utilize wedges:

• longitudinal wedge connection (wedge for mounting gears, toothed wheels, hubs on shafts and the like),
• transverse wedge connection (wedge for connecting shafts, rods, bushings and similar, mounting plates),

In addition to positioning and locking the housing elements, the locking wedges also take up part of the load from the contact surfaces.
