The engine oil filter is a very important element of the lubrication system and its main task is to clean the oil circulating in the engine system from organic and mineral impurities. The metal oil filter , screw-on, is a filter whose main task is to remove the smallest impurities from the oil, even 1/50 mm in size. The filter construction is very simple and consists of a metal can with a thread and a paper insert inside arranged in a so-called accordion to increase the filtration surface.
