Potato cultivation in Poland began in 1683, when the potato tubers were brought by King Jan III Sobieski during his return from the Vienna expedition. Of course, potato cultivation has changed dramatically since then. This is not to say that those systems of cultivation of this raw material were bad, but certainly time worked in favor here. Currently, the harvesting of tubers, as well as the potato cultivation itself, is mostly mechanized work. The consumer receives a clean product, often already packed. Of course, this valuable agricultural machine, such as a potato ridger, is dedicated to all inter-row crops for vegetables that grow in ridges (potatoes, beets).
Hoe-riggers are multifunctional care tools used for work in the cultivation of potatoes and other root crops grown in ridges and in the cultivation of vegetables, strawberries and corn. The machine can be used for weeding, loosening inter-rows, and edging rows of plants up to 60 cm high.
